Welcome and transfer to your hotel in Cusco. In the afternoon at approximately 1:00 p.m. We will pick you up from the hotel and begin our tour of the city, starting with the Cathedral of Cusco that keeps in its walls priceless artistic treasures, it is considered by many to be the most beautiful in South America. Then we will visit the Qorikancha, this wonderful temple is considered sacred since it housed Inca priests in charge of worshiping the Sun God. We will continue our guided tour of the archaeological centers located in the surroundings of the city of Cusco; Starting with Sacsayhuaman, its Quechua name means "satisfied falcon", it was built with huge stone blocks. In the time of the Incas it was called the "house of the sun" and was a great religious center of great importance in the local tradition. Then we will visit Qenqo, a Quechua word that means "Labyrinth" coined by the Spanish for its labyrinthine underground galleries and for the small canals carved in zigzag. We will continue our tour visiting Puka-Pukara, called the red fortress, it is built with stones with that color tone and finally we will arrive at Tambomachay which was an Inca temple dedicated to the cult of water.
Our tour ends in the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Breakfast at the hotel. at 8:00 a.m. m. We will pick you up from your hotel and start by visiting the archaeological center of Pisac located 45 minutes from Cusco by private transportation. Pisac will give you an idea of ​​the advanced knowledge that the Incas reached in architecture. As in other Inca constructions, some studies reveal that it was not a fortress, but a kind of "royal hacienda" owned by the Inca Pachacutec, made up of platforms, domestic and ceremonial structures, and aqueducts that provided water for the exploitation. agricultural. Another good reason to visit Pisac is its craft market, where you can find some unique and authentic souvenirs.
At noon we will go to the town of Urubamba where we will enjoy a buffet lunch that will allow you to enjoy the delicious Peruvian cuisine. Urubamba was one of the main agricultural centers of the Inca Empire. Currently the best corn in the world is harvested here and in the rainy season the valley's own fruits abound, such as peaches, capulí, quince, top quality strawberries, among others.
In the afternoon we will visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo that constituted a strategic military, agricultural and religious center to administer and control the Sacred Valley; This is deduced from the constructions that are presumed for agricultural deposits and for military use such as walls and watchtowers (probably to protect themselves from the jungle ethnic groups). This archaeological site comprises a series of overlapping terraces, showing the impressive and large finely carved stone blocks located on the upper terrace.
It is in Ollantaytambo that we will board the train to Aguas Calientes in order to visit Machu Picchu early the next day.

DAY 3: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU + MACHUPICCHU MOUNTAIN - CUSCO

Very early in the morning we will have breakfast at the hotel and then we will go to the bus station to go up to the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The trip lasts 25 minutes, finally we will arrive at Machu Picchu and they will begin the independent ascent to the Machu Picchu mountain, doing it will take them about an hour and a half but it is really worth it, they will literally be in the clouds. . The view is impressive and the experience will be unforgettable, enjoy it and recharge your batteries.
After your visit to the Machu Picchu Mountain, you will descend and that is when our guide will provide you with private guidance in the citadel for approximately 2 hours. After the guide is finished, you will have free time to freely explore Machu Picchu. We will return by bus to Aguas Calientes and in the afternoon you will have time until the end of the afternoon to have lunch, be able to rest in Aguas Calientes and get to know the town. In the afternoon we will board the train to Ollantaytambo to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco. We will arrive in Cusco.
