On the way back to Cusco we will visit the town of Chinchero known as the city of the Rainbow to see the church of Our Lady of Monserrat built in 1607 on the palace of Tupac Yupanqui, we will also see terraces and its craft market.

Inti Raymi - Festival of the Sun.
It is an ancient Andean religious ceremony in honor of the Inti (Sun God), which takes place every winter solstice. Every June 24, the day when the sun is at its furthest point from the earth, the Inti Raymi or "festival of the Sun" is celebrated, of fundamental importance in the Incas. This was the most important religious festival during the time of the Incas. To this day it is still represented in the architectural complex of Sacsayhuaman.
